Hi Lynne
The 1841 and 1851 censuses both show the Coxall family as living at Dimmocks Cottage at Wicken in Cambridgeshire. The 1851 entry is as follows:
John CoxallHeadM47Farmer of 130 acres, employing 5 men, 2 boys & 2 girls Place of birth not shown.

George Coxall SonU3Born Wicken
Benjamin Coxall Son U 10 monthsBorn Wicken.
I found John (Senior) on the 1881 Census living with his son Frederick at Waterbeach in Cambridgeshire. This time his place of birth was given as Waterbeach and his age as 77.
John, the son of John and Mary Coxall was baptised at WAterbeach in 1803.
For more information about Cambs families, you might want to join the Cambridgeshire Family History Society. AT the very least, I would suggest you visit their website at www.cfhs.org.uk . They have various parish registers - including Waterbeach's - as well as census returns available on microfiche.
Best wishes and good hunting.
Denis Gilbert.
