Mrs. Bobbie Jane Cradic Calton, age 56, of 137 Ridgehaven
Dr., Surgoinsville, TN, passed away Thursday, September
20, 2007 at the Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital and
Medical Center following an extended illness. Through all
the pain and suffering she always had a smile on her face.
Now she is smiling for Jesus for God called another angel
Mrs. Calton was a life long resident of Hawkins County and
was a member of the Mt. Carmel Fellowship Chapel Church.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in the music store
and listening to gospel music.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Floyd and
Vestie Richards Cradic, brother, Albert Cradic.
Survivors include, her loving husband, Corbin Calton of
the home; two sons, Carl and Robin Calton of Church Hill,
TN, and Scotty Calton of Surgoinsville, TN; one daughter,
Sissie Calton of Surgoinsville, TN; three grandchildren,
Amanda Drinnon, Erica Atkinson and Kyle Atkinson; 8
brothers, Carl and Jean Cradic, Church Hill, TN, James and
Ruth Cradic, Surgoinsville, TN, Billy and Belva Cradic,
Surgoinsville, TN, Lee and Patsy Cradic, Surgoinsville, TN,
Lester Cradic, Larry Cradic, Donnie Cradic and Loyd Cradic
all of Church Hill, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson
Funeral Home and anytime at the residence.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the
Elm Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken
Christian, Rev. Kenny Hammond and Rev. Charles Sturgil
officiating. Burial will follow in the Elm Springs
Serving as pallbearers will be, Junior Fugate, Randy
Vaughn, Danny Lawson, Daniel Gardner, Frank Amyx, Larry
Calton, Richard Ripley and Clayton Adams.
