Ellender Craig was a widow paying taxes in StTh 1792 in Orange Co. NC.Could this be the mother of the Ellender Craig who married James Poyner?
In the 1790 Orange Co. NC Census Hillsborough District St. Thomas District
were Samuel Craig, Elinor Craig, John Craig, James Craig Sr.
in St. Mary's District is Jonathan Craig.
There was a Thomas Craig signing the petition to form Stewart Co. TN in 1803.
Also a James Craig.
