Captain Creasey of the clipper Flying Cloud
I am seeking a biographical sketch of sea captain Creasey who was the skipper of the American clipper ship "Flying Cloud".
In one exploit, Captain Creasey & crew sailed the clipper ship "Flying Cloud" from New York harbor, New York (21 Jan 1854) and arrived at San Francisco, California (20 Apr 1854), beating it's own world record made (31 Aug 1851).
"Flying Cloud" remained in port at San Francisco just long enough for provisioning, and then departed for Hong Kong harbor on (29 Apr 1854)- a quick turn-around feat never before performed by any known vessel then.
