It looks like your Ronald Creese and the Ronald Creese I'm reserching are one and the same. My ex husband was Ian Mark Carr son of Margaret Race, daughter of Vera Mary Creese who I think was the sister of your father Steven.
I have traced the Creeses to Brixham, Devon. To a Christopher Creese and Mary Keddle/Kiddle/Keddel who married in 1786 and had 9 children. Their son William is the one Ronald appears to decend from. 2 of his sons Richard and Thomas both lived in Grimsby. Richard was there with his wife Mary and a daughter called Salvia in 1871 living at 13 Bridge Street North. His brother Thomas was there in 1881 with wife Elizabeth and daugthers Mary Elizabeth (Polly), Olive and son Thomas P at 15 Fotherby Street.
I am still looking into various things to do with the Creeses. I've found a branch of the family that moved to Tenby, and various other surnames i.e. Winter, Collins, Hallet, Richards, Blackler, Patterson, Banyard, and Thornley.
