Deborah, I am just getting back on line as our computer was down for awhile.I am so sorry I missed your message until now.It was such a thrill to see your message online. I am trying to put together a complete history of the family and I am just starting.
I don't know if you remember me, but when we were all kids, your grandfather, my Uncle Alva used to take us kids to the toy store, give us a buggy and tell us we could have all we could grab and put in that buggy in so much time.I remember Aunt Marion and Grandma Stewart very well and I always adored Uncle Alva.If there is anything that I can tell you about my dad's family and all of us, please feel free to ask.
Grandma died December 9, 1972 and is buried in Palm Beach Gardens in Palm Beach, Florida.Grandpa married again. He married a woman Zeneida in Bacolod, Phillipine Islands. They had a boy from what I was told.Gramps was always something else.He died after a prostrate surgery from an overdose of anesthesia in the Phillipines on my birthday, July 2, 1982.He was 80 years old.He simply went to sleep for the surgery and never woke up.
My parents are divorced. My dad married again to a woman from the Phillipines as did Uncle Bill after Aunt Rose died.Dad and Stella have a boy.His name is Joseph. He is 23.10 months older than my youngest son.Stella is 3 years older than me.
Uncle Bill also died on my birthday, July 2, 1999.I would love to have anything that you have on the Crego family as far back as you can get.I am trying to put together an album with pictures and vital documents to hand down to my kids and to give to each of my brothers.Send me an e-mail at [email protected] will going up north soon and would love to see yal.Where is Uncle Stew, Pudge and Norman. Are any of them still alive. It would be great to have a family reunion. Is Aunt Ruth alive?(I doubt that any of them are still living, but it doesn't hurt to ask) I have not seen her since I was 8 years old.I saw Uncle Bill's kids at the funeral and it was the first time that all of us first cousins had been together in over 40 years.I have a picture of all of us.My brother Jimmy was not there unfortunately. We were all talking about having a reunion, but so far they just talk and nothing as been done.
