I think there might be a connection because another Creighton reseacher (Carol Walker Clayton from New Jersey) just recently made contact with me and mentioned the Owen Sound connection. She is travelling right now and will be back in touch with me next month after she returns from holidays.

My Creightons landed in the Cambridge, Ontario (Preston, Galt & Hespler) area.

The information that Carol Clayton was able to provide me took my line of Creightons back to William Creighton born in 1800 inDrumsker, Irvinestown, Co. Fermanagh, Ireland.
