Oriel Septs of Ireland Project-Crilly
I have created a new geographic DNA project called the 'Oriel Septs of Ireland.'
In the Oriel Project, we hope to use the tools of molecular biology, i.e. DNA analysis, combined with traditional methods of research, to answer questions about the true history of the confederation of clans know collectively as "The Oriel (Airghialla)." The Oriel inhabited, and controlled, large parts of Ulster, what is now known as Northern Ireland.
Here is a link to the Oriel Septs of Ireland Project:

Please take the time to look at the project description, eligible surnames, and the project goals. On our News page tab, you will find links to our sister site.
If you have already been Y-DNA tested at FTDNA, you can join our project at no additional expense, as you are allowed to belong to both a surname project, and a geographic project, like the Oriel Septs Project.
If you have not already been Y-DNA tested at FTDNA, you can both join the project, and order a Y-DNA test kit, from the link on the upper left-hand side of out web site Home Page. By ordering a Y-DNA test kit, and joining through our web site, you will automatically be receiving our Oriel Project's group discounted price from FTDNA.
I do not sell DNA test kits, nor do I receive any money from the sale of DNA test kits. I am also not an employee of FTDNA. I am strictly a volunteer for the Oriel Septs of Ireland DNA Project.
