Jonas Crisler was the son of John George Crisler.
John George Crisler did marry Elizabeth "Betsy" Price.
They had the Following children (1) John Geroge (2) Eliza Ann (3) Maria Myers (4) Delilah Smith (5) Mary Elizabeth (6) Henry Price (7) Benjamin Miller (8) Thomas Pratt (9) Julia Frances (10) Virginia Louesa.
# (1) John George was born on Dec.23,1811 in Madison,Virginia, died on Jan.8,1846 at Walton in Boone County.His headstone was copied by Mrs.William Fritzgerld in 1970.It was in the Norman Cemetry located in prestent day Florence,Ky. at the intersection of US42 and I-75. ( I spoke to Susan Chabot of the Boone County Historical Preservation, and she told me that she returned several years later with Mrs. Fritzgerld and the cemetery was gone.They beleive that it was covered over when they built the Frishch's restarunt there in the early 1970's) He married Sarah Connor and had the folllowing children.Elizabeth, Emily A. and John George,who was born on Jan.10,1826,two days after the death of his father. There may have been more children account of the age gap between the girls and John Greoge. Sarah and the children can be found in the 1850 Boone County Census in dwelling #1099 with her parents Lewis Connor age 69, a Baptist Minister, Ann Conner age 70, Sarah Crisler age 34, Elizabeth age 14,Emily A.age 12 and John G.age 4.
Ann Connor was also a Crisler, she was the daughter of Lenaord Crisler.
As for #(6) Henry Price Crisler he was born on sept.29, 1820 in Madison Va.and died on Mar.2,1907 in Boone County. He married Elizabeth Gaines on Oct.27,1842, she was born July 21,1824 and died March 6,1898. They are burried at Bulletsburg allong with their son John Gaines Crisler. Henry and Elizabeth had the following children.(1) John Gaines b.March 7,1844 d.Jan.28,1871 (2) Mary Eliza B. Sept.15,1845 married John Milton Rice (3) Richard Henry b.Apr.15,1848 married Lucretia M.Graves (4) Jane Elizabeth b.Mar.22,1852 married Joseph Elijah Snyder (5) Benjamin Jonas b. Jan.18,1857 married Laura Aylor (6) William Thomas b.Oct.30,1864, he was still single as late as 1894.
John G.Crisler and Nannie Records were married by the Rev.Layfayette Johnson at the home of Jane Vaughn ( her mother and stepfather's home) on Dec.10,1867. Nannie's full name was Nancy Jane Records. She was the daughter of Willis Records and Jane Wilson, ( married Feb.14,1842 as per boone county marriage book A page 122.

There are no ceensus for 1890, as they were destroyed.

As of the 1900 census son William Records Crisler had married Allie Terry and was living in Walton on main street in Dwelling #17 with 4 children of their own.
There was at least 1 more child as there is a tombstone in the Richwood Presbyterian Church Cemetry in Boone County thats engraved ; Tommie A. son of J.G.& Nannie Crisler, died July 8,1887 aged 3 yrs, 10 mos, 14 ds. ( This would have made hin a twin to Robert.)
As you can see by the dates of the childrens births, they were all born after John Gaines Crisler died in 1871.
