Re: Roy Crissup, OK/Lola Moler, OK

Hello Vivian, we may have talked before but I am not sure so I am listing a the information I have on the Crissup family in the hopes that we can help each other.I have been corresponding with Dale and have given him the same information.My information is as follows some is proven and some not.

My ancestor Louisa (Crissup) Garrett b.1822.I believe her to be a Crissup because both Mary Ann and Jasper Newton are found on the 1850 Effingham Co. IL census with her and her Husband Brantly Garrett.Brantley was born in Hickman Co. TN.

Mary Ann b. about 1829 d. bef.1869 Effingham Co. IL m. Bergis Milton Ramsey, April 12, 1852 Effingham Co. IL.Bergis and Henry G. Garrett (son of Louisa and Brantley) are in Grayson Co. TX about 1800.

Jasper Newton b. 1832 d. unknown (last known location was Sigal, Shelby Co. IL in 1885) m. Elizabeth Petty or Pelty.Jasper is found on the 1850 census in both Hickman Co TN living with the family of John Renfro and also on the 1850 census for Effingham as stated above.

Jane b. 1833 Hickman Co TN d. bef 1860 burried at Harder Cemetery, Hickman Co. TN m. John Willis Harder April 21, 1850 Hohenwald, Lewis Co. TN

Robert b. Dec25, 1812 m.(1) Julian "Ann" Webb b. 1819 they married about 1836 (2) Elizabeth Webb b. abt 1830 they married Feb, 9 1848 (Ann and Eliz. Are sisters)In 1865 Robt is in Bethany, Harrison Co. MO and by 1870 he is located in Chase Co. Kansas.The Webb sisters have another sister (Lucinda) who married Henry Garrett brother of Louisa's husband Brantley.

William b. 1800/10 he is on the 1830 census living very near Elizabeth Renfro age 50/60, Jesse Renfro age30/40 And Eli Renfro age 20.30.

Throughout my research I have consistantly had the surnames of Crissup, Garrett, Renfro, Tarrant, Webb and Ramsey show up together in both IL and TN
