Been so long since I wrote about this I had forgotten about it
Anyway, was just trying to find out if anyone left who could tell me the ACTUAL connections between the CRITES, TINNINS GUNNELS and my NEVER HEARD of BAKERS of Rock Church vicinity...
My BAKER side always mentioned the familes coming to Paluxy in a "wagon train"(3 or 4 famillies?) but when I ask anyone who isNOT a BAKER , I get NOTHINGonly mention of the other three familes!
I understand that my BAKER male died in 1863 so that explains some of itbut NO matter, I just would like to know if they met up on the road or if there was family roots involved
You see my BAKER guy in 1860 census, said he wa born in Mo in 1832BUT the little BAKER family was living in Honey Grove, Tx before coming down to Hood/Erath in about 1857...
SO, did CRITES come to Paluxy thru Fannin Co, Texas?
Or was it just a coincidental meeting on the DANGERSOUS road into western Texas?
