Hello, Pamela Lavery! I have seen in Maryland Marriage records and also in the will of Nancy White Cropper's father, Jacob White, the listing of Kendall and Nancy (Ann) White's marriage in 1802 as well as her father's will which lists: "to my daughter, Nancy, wife of Kendall Cropper..."I have also found a document stating that Kendall (also born around 1780) lived in Snow Hill either from birth, or in his youth. His grandfather or great grandfatherJohn Cropper left quite a large estate in Snow Hill after he ran off there from Accomack VA with the widow Rhoda Fassitt and abandoned his wife and children.(Great story, that!)I am not too familiar with the Wise family.I understand Jennings Cropper Wise wrote numerous books including "John Wise, of England and Virginia his ancestors and descendants." If you haven't read it, it's available at Alibris for under 25 dollars. You probably already know that the original Cropper Wise connection was through Major John Wise and his wife Sarah Corbin Cropper? If you would like to e-mail me to see if we have any info to share,or documents for any of the above, please do so at: Ronalddell@msn.com Best, Roberta.
