I am writing to tell you that you have the surname placement wrong! In Spain and most hispanic culture the cristian or given name goes first, followed by the Father's (Patromyn)Surname THEN followed by the Mother's Patronym Surname, or in other word her dad's last name. Also women did not take their husband's surnames after marriage, but retainde their combined father and mother's last names. If you don't get this right you will have an extremely difficult time finding any records! The Cruz mame was usually written as three words "de la Cruz" which means "of the Cross", refering to it's christian symbol. See my post on this site of helpful websites which can aid you in Spain. Wishing you the best of luck in your searches!
