I've been looking for Cloe Tolle since we last emailed.Couldn't find her, but did find another entry in LDS for Vienna and Milton S. Hall -however, Vienna was listed as Nianna Tolle. And...guess what? This find took me to Milton and Vienna's daughter, Mary Jane Hall b. 1845. She married at Ft. Kearney, Kearney Co, Nebraska to William Newton Monroe on the 24th of December in 1863.
Mary Jane and her husband moved around quite a bit -just like her father. They moved to Omaha, Douglas Co., Neb then Iowa, Kansas and Texas. Looks like they settled in Monrovia, CA with Milton and his second wife Belle Napier.
I also found four out of Mary Jane's five known children. They are all buried in the Live Oak Cememtery in Monrovia. (thought that was interesting).
You can get all of the information with a bit more detail at the LDS Family History site. Look up Nianna Tolle and you'll pull up all the children for their daughter. It also says that Vienna and Milton were married at La Grange, Lewis County, MO. I've tried to see if t hey were listed in the Lewis marriages but couldn't find them. So I was wondering if the person who sent in the information was going on family stories. Their names, dates, etc. for all of people was very good. And, at least they had his name as Milton S. Hall. That's another point for me.
Something else. I also found my Peter A. Hall. He married Malinda Chandler on 08 Mar 1842 in Lewis County, Missouri. I knew that Peter had married twice, but was unaware of this third marriage. It has been confusing because his three wives' names were Mahala, Miranda and Mariah. Looks like I'm going to be spending more time in the Marion County, MO area digging around!
