Death of a Promising Young Man
Albert Culverson Dead
Albert Culverson, aged 26 years, one of St. Charles' promisingyoung men, passed away last Saturday afternoon at his home in the southeast part of town. He had been sick about three weeks with a malady which finally terminated in typhoid fever and caused his death.
Mr. Culverson was born in St. Charles and has lived in the place all his life. He was married a year ago to Miss Bertha Baldridge, who with an infant son survives him. He also leaves three sisters and one brother. They are: Mrs. O.M. Halleck, Mrs. Wm. Turner, Mrs. Wm. Allen and Alfred Culverson. At the time of his sickness he was employed at the Glenn foundry, where he was regarded as a faithful employe.
The funeral was held from the home of his sister, Mrs. Halleck, at 2 o'clock Monday. Rev. George Smith officiating. The remains were interred in the North cemetery.
