By the kindness of several researchers who asked to remain anonymous, I have found out my ancestry back to Adam Drayton Cusack, a Revolutionary War Hero.I would like to say THANK YOU for your selfless help.
Now I would like some background information on the women who married my Cusack Grandfathers. My mother, Eva Mae Cusack Wewers, the oldest daughter of John Jacob Cusack Jr., told me she thought we had Indian blood in our veins. Mom is still alive but with Dementia (Alzheimer’s). That said, I am looking at the wives of my grandfather's as the possible source of any Native American Indian heritage. If you have any information that would help me, I would love to get a copy of it. As well as I can decipher, My Grandfather was John Jacob Cusack, Jr. who married Eva Elizabeth Richardson. Her Father was Charlie Edward Richardson. Her Mother was Charlotte Jane Hyman. John Jacob Cusack Sr's father was Henry Drayton Cusack, his mother was Eliza Poston. Henry Drayton Cusack's Father was our Revolutionary Hero Adam Drayton Cusack who was hung for not letting the British Soldiers ride his ferry across the river. Adam married Margret Smith, Henry Drayton Cusack married Eliza Poston, John Jacob Cusack Sr. married Molly Ann Rogers and John Jacob Cusack Jr. married Eva Elizabeth Richardson whom was the mother and father of my mother Eva Mae Cusack Wewers. If you have any information about these individuals and whether or not there was Native American Indian blood involved, I would love to know. Thank you in advance for your time and effort.
