DASHNEY, John, d 1872, Ontario

Looking for my 4ggrandfather, John Dashney. Born 1791. Died 1872 Alexandria, Ontario. Death record states he was a native of Montreal. Wife name was Christina McDonald.
I have much information on the descendants and suspect there has been a change in the spelling of the name to Dashney.
