Although you say you don't have much information, surely you have some sort of idea of when "Charles" (Karl or Carl in Sweden, most likely) was born. Ages are provided in censuses, which allow you to estimate a year of birth. The 1900 U.S. Federal Census provides a month and year of birth.
The U.S. Federal Censuses for 1900-1910-1920-1930 provide a year of immigration which is at least approximately the right year.
Emibas was made from registrations with the Swedish parish to go to a foreign country. It is about 75% complete. Were either of these men born at the right time?
