It would be difficult to find 20C Dallyn ancestors without more information. A recent survey of the Devon telephone books reveals 28, of which 17 are still in N Devon mainly W of Exmoor and N of Dartmoor! I know of no Kenneths in the Dallyn side of my family. In about six months' time the 1901 census will come on line from the Public Record Office (pro.gov.uk) which may be useful. And of course you could try searching telephone books in other parts of the country. The most useful Dallyn source I have found so far is the 1851 Census extract (Devon, Norfolk and Warwickshire) available on disc and well indexed.
