There are two DANIELL boys in Emanuel County, GA.A William DANIELL and a John R. DANIELL.They both are Sheriff and/or Clerk of the Court in the 1830 time frame.William dies about 1831 or so and John dies later. There is also a Hambleton DANIEL mentioned in their deeds and records.

The reason I am curious is because the name Brantly is found several times in the children of Lucretia DANIEL (1807-1849) and Allen TARVER.They probably were married up in Burke where the DANIELs were from but we know they moved to Russell County, AL about 1840 where we think Lucretia died in 1849.

Allen TARVER then came back to Jefferson County, GA and dumped their four kids off on Lucretia's brothers, Robert W. DANIEL (1809-1865) and James L. DANIEL (1814-1857).These boys lived in Bethany (now Wadley), which is located but a few miles from Emanuel County, GA.

I do not know if these DANIELS are connected but there are all too many connections to the Emanuel County, GA area in this bunch.
