The problem is both of these men used N C Daniell as their name. So Mary or Hannah Brantley was married to N C Daniell just not the one that went to Texas. I suspect these 2 men are from the same family but I cannot connect the N C Daniell from Texas to the family I am researching. The one that died in Ga was named Nathaniel but I suspect the one that died in Texas was also Nathaniel. I can only connect 2 sons to the one that died in Georgia, Brantley and Emanuel both born before 1800 (he has 2 sons under age 16 on the Wayne Co, N C census. Their names come from messageboards, people searching for any record of what happened to them. They must have died young because I found no census record of them beyond 1800. The children's names for the Texas N C Daniell also came from messageboards but it follows, they were all in Monroe Co, Mississippi. George marries there in 1821, John is on the 1830 census there, Leander is on the 1840 census there. Nathaniel I found nowhere but since the others fit I don't doubt that he was also N C's child. This is what I have for the Georgia Nathaniel or N C Daniell born 18 Mar 1774 North Carolina died 1833 Ga therecord has 9/2/1833 but I only use the year because this is the date his estate was processed not his date of death. His parents were supposedly Rev William Daniell and Rachel Howe. Hannah was born about 1775 North Carolina date of death unknown. Oh, and Sheppard for Martha Hannah came from an e-mail to me informing me I had the Tx. N C Daniell with the wrong family and the wrong wife. That's when I went searching again and had to revise my file because she appeared to be correct indeed. (I do not have her name or info it was some time ago and I've changed computers since then).
