I found this site a while ago but only now got around to posting. Seems that my particular line of Dansbys hasn't hit this board yet. Furthest I have is Jonathan W. Dansby, born 11/8/1802 in Chester District, SC. He died 1/5/1847. He was married to a Sarah Jaggers Dansby with unclear records. They gave birth to Thomas R. Dansby 10/28/1822, also in Chester District, SC. He died 10/28/1891. Married to Sarah A. Terrell Dansby, born 2/15/1823 and died 8/15/1895. They gave birth to my great Grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Dansby, 3/25/1864 in Smithville, MS. He had three brothers, George Washington Dansby, William and Moses, and a sister, Henrietta. Benjamin married Ernestine Reinbold, who was born 3/1/1864 in Steinback, Baden, Germany. Benjamin died 4/24/1934 in Ft. Smith, AR, and Ernestine died 3/31/1949, also in Ft. Smith. They gave birth to my grandfather, Frank Reinbold Dansby, 9/6/1907, in Rogers, AR. He married Florence Vincent Dansby, born 5/12/1912 in Ft. Worth. Frank died July 11, 1996, in Glendale, CA. Florence is still living in Valencia, CA. They gave birth to my father, Patrick Franklin Dansby, 1/25/1941, in Lynwood, CA. Pat married Karen Anderson Dansby, born 3/12/1941 in Duluth, MN, in Altadena, CA. They live in Valencia, CA. I was born Michael Patrick Dansby 10/21/1962 in Altadena, CA and have two brothers, Jeff and Jim. I now live in Austin, TX with my wife Claire, son Zach and daughter Julia. Interestingly, the woman who delivered flowers on the occasion of Zach's birth in Colorado Springs, CO, was married to another Michael Dansby, who it seems had been receiving my mail and phone calls as we had just moved to the city. Lots of other history and names if this particular lineage is interesting to anyone. Some of my grandfather's siblings married into Fitzgeralds and Murphys here in Texas, particularly Midland.
