My maiden name is alos D'aoust, changed to Doe.I live in Windsor, Ontario and was told that my great grandfather or great - great grandfather (I'm not sure) was the one who changed it.I don't know that much down the line on my family tree but my Grandfather's name was Alex Doe (married to Lorraine Couvillon).
