I am looking for information regarding Elizabeth Kellum, who eventually married to a Maurice Stratton, mother of Albert, Oscar, Harry Stratton. This set of boys said to have a father from the Dare family of NJ according to family legend plus notation on a photo of the boys.Their birth precedes the marriage and is group distinct in birthdays from other children of the family: Pearl, Goldie, Sylvern Stratton. It is possible that the name is Elizabeth Kellum Strang, as her mother had remarried. In at least one Census, she goes by "Lizzie."
Elizabeth Kellum was in the household of Richard Strang as of 1880, had Harry (1882), Albert (1887), and Oscar (1890), then married Maurice (pronounced Morris) in 1893, and the 1895 NJ Census show this group living together. The 1900 Cenus, however, does not.
Any information or points in the a direction would be most appreciated.I think keys to this mystery are any records of who she may have married between 1880 and 1881, or where the three eldest boys went to in 1900.
