I have many photos to share with you (and others interested in the Daubers of Monroe Co., PA), but don't know how to upload digital images here. Two 1800's pictures show Abraham Dauber and his wife, Martha Wagner (Dauber). She was beautiful. Can you give me your e-mail address? Mine is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Yes. I know the names of the men who married Abraham Dauber's two daughters. My grandmother, Minnie Maria (pronounced, "Mah-Rye-ah") Dauber married Preston. C. Stirk on Dec. 20, 1917. They had one child: my mother, Hilma Louise Stirk. She was born in Bethlehem, PA on Oct.11, 1918. I later learned that Minnie Dauber inherited the Rh negative factor in her blood. This was probably the reason that my maternal grandparents had no other offspring. My mother married a Myers from PA. They had three children: John, Louise (me) and Kristen. They were married for over 55 years.
The younger daughter of Abraham Dauber was Ruth Dauber. She was my great aunt and I knew Aunt Ruth well because she lived to be about 94 years old. She married William W. Althouse. His electrical business was located in Perkasie. They had two sons, Dale and Truman.
