Jeff Daurice-Died in Prison

I am looking for information on my gg-uncle Jeff Daurice. I may have the spelling wrong. He married Anna Wright. Jeff was a Bank Robber. He died in prison. He was called "The Blue Bandana Bandit" I don't know much about him. I was told one time when he was caught that he was put in a cell and he stripped off all his clothes and soaped down his body and escaped by sliding between the bars, so he must have been a small man : ). I also know that my aunt lived in Kansas.My aunt was born 10-18-1889, I don't know about Jeffs DOB. I realize this is not a lot of information but if anyone can help me with this family it would be much appreciated. Penny
