Jaston John Dawson, precious son of Zach and Tabitha (Christensen) Dawson, beloved brother to Tara Freeburg, and Landen and Anberlin Dawson, was born and returned to Heaven at Sanford USD Medical Center on Thursday, September 20, 2012, weighing 3 pounds, 6 ounces and was 15.5 inches long.He fought for his life and the spiritual awakening of others for 40 weeks and 3 days until the Lord called him home.Although his life was all too short, our little messenger boy, left and impression on many hearts and will forever be loved and missed. Jaston is survived by his parents, Zach and Tabitha, brother, Landen and sisters Tara and Anberlin (Sioux Falls, SD); paternal grandparents, Dick and Dianne Dawson (Canistota, SD); maternal grandparents, Tony and Reva Masiero (Casper, WY) and Todd and Lisa Christensen (Gary, SD); paternal great grandmother, Lavelle Dekramer (Canistota, SD); maternal great grandparents, Nette Anderson (Elkton, SD) and Calvin and Vonnie Christensen (Canby, MN); and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins including; Monica Christensen (Casper, WY); Jeremiah and Ashley Christensen and their daughter, Madison (Bar Nunn, WY); and KayLeigh Masiero (Casper, WY). Jaston was preceded in death by his great grandparents; George (Bud) and Maxine Dawson, Dale Dekramer, Audrey Christensen, and Marlen Anderson; and great uncle Charles (Chuck) Christensen. A special thank you is extended to the nurses and physicians (Dr. Shelley Cole) at Sanford USD Medical Center that helped deliver Jaston and to the palliative care team (Dr. Larry Fenton and Pam Koepsell, RN) who provided love and support thoughtout Jaston's life.A thank you is also extended to Miller Funeral Home for his cremation and a very special thank you to Chaplain Bill for his prayers and guidance and to Robin Haiar (Alexandria, SD) and Natalie Abbey (Junction City, KS) for their continued support and dedication to taking photos and making lasting memories throughout this journey. Please join them for a memorial lunch to celebrate his life at their home in Brandon, SD on October 13, 2012 from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm.
