Billie,
Thanks for the quick reply.Every day I find more and more new DeBruhls'.I can see where it's difficult to see where your Michael (son of Edward) falls in the mix of sibilings of Edward Cornwallis'(there's so many). The paper work that I got just says that Edward C. had two children by a previous marriage; Edward C, Jr. and Mike (Michael). We know now(safe to assume)that the fisrt wife was Mary Konegay.
My paper work doesn't mention anywhere about a Mary Fisher, Elizabeth, or a Samuel Goddard (associated with Edward Cornwallis). The children of Patience that you noted are the same that I have, with the exception of Michael. For the Kornegay children, do have a resource for this information that I can look up?
Do you have any information on George and William (sons of Edward Cornwallis)?I have very little (none).
The Children I have for Michael and Magraret Sowell are:Elizabeth b. 1825 d. 1907 m. John Holly; Edward; Loveda;Gilly Ann; and Louisa. This is all the info I have on Michael's and Margaret's children. Is there anything you can add?
If I read you message correctly, Edward Cornwallis, Jr.'s sister was Elizabeth Gause? Is this Lucia Elizabeth or some other Elizabeth?
I'm descended from Marshall Pringle DeBruhl, son of Stephen Carr DeBruhl.Marshall P. (my g-grandfather) married Katherine "Kate" Calhoun. So if you need any info on the Stephen Carr line, let me know and I'll try to help.
P.S.Do you have any info about Michael Samuel and Margaret Pring prior to them leaving for Nova Scotia. All I have is a possible London address / area, and I found a Harriet DeBruhl in Scotland during the late 1700's.She was born abt. 1762 in Mertoun, Berwickshire, Scotland and married a Hugh Baron Polwarth abt. 1795, same location.I figure it could be a relative of Michael Samuel's (or a dead end).I haven't checked it out yet.
