i am looking to connect some lines here but though the names match, I am not sure I am looking for the same Debusk as everyone else. according to my tree that was compiled by Richard Trent Debusk, it reads as follows:
_____ DeBusk, in war of 1812; d. soon after war; wife died during war; children, Eliz. and Isaac, raised by gr.father.
Isaac Debusk, gr.son of Elisha or Elijah b. July 5,1813, VA. died 3/16/1862, in Union Army after battle of Pea Ridge. Caseville, Mo. Madison Co., Ia. home m. Ann Tomlinson b. 3/16/1817 d. 10.3 1868 (her mother was Eunice Rouse - Rouse being a name I keep seeing in this forum directly married into the DeBusk line under Elisha or Elijah)
Isaac Hayden DeBusk b. April 16,1855, Sangamon Co., Ill. d.Jan. 29,1882 Guthrie Co., Iowa m. Nov 29 1877 Guthrie Co. IA. to Mary Eva Trent b. Jan.14 1862 Polk Co., Iowa d. Feb. 3 1882 Guthrie Co. Iowa
William Hayden Debusk b. March 29th 1881 Guthrie County Iowa served in World War I.
Obviously this may be the same Elisha or Elijah, just wanted to double check and also ask if the "Hayden" that shows up in two names in a row has anything to do with the maiden name of the wife of the mystery DeBusk at the Top of this line
