"Finally, it was with great sadness that I learned that former Tangerine frontman Danny Deigan passed away recently at the age of 34. The exuberant frontman/guitarist, who always sported a perfect blond coif and heartbreak swagger, possessed a voice and stage presence that would give Bowie and Prince a run for the money. He led Tangerine to be the buzz band of LA in 1997 playing in clubs throughout Hollywood. Following the band's demise, Deigan went on to marry his longtime girlfriend Noelle and become a proficient session musician playing with such names as Kenny Arrnoff, Chris Channing and Robbie Jacobs. His life and music were celebrated at Molly Malone's bar with members of bands the Hookers, Calico and Tangerine as well as many friends and family who joined in remembrance. I had the great pleasure of getting to know Danny well during the Tangerine days. He was a true spark of talent, a priceless personality and he will be sorely missed."
