Marguerite, I am following a tentative lead from my family name BUXTON via RANDALL/RANDLE to DEEMING. A Mary Ann DEEMING, daughter of Samuel DEEMING and Martha, was christened on 6th September 1835 at St Lawrence, Foleshill, Warwickshire. On the 24th December 1860 she married Joseph RANDLE at Nuneaton, Warwickshire. They then moved to Chesterfield in Derbyshire and one of their children, Mary Annie (Elizabeth), born c1866 married Alfred BUXTON in St, Thomas church, Brampton on 26th December 1887. One of their children, Samuel, was my father. Have you found any information on the DEEMINGS I mention, in your extensive research? Have you noticed how many marriages took place on the 25th and 26th of December in the nineteenth century? I wonder why. Regards, Mike Buxton, Melbourne, Australia.
