Pleased to meet you! I'm new to the internet and this is my first visit to this site. Researching Thomas Devilly, born Abt. 1831-34 in County Galway, Ireland (possibly at a village called Dunmore). He is believed to have emigrated to the U.S with two of his sisters, Margaret & Mary, probably around the time of the potato famine, circa 1849, before finally settling in England. He is recorded in the 1881 & 1891 census at Bole Hill, Marsh Lane, Eckington, Derbyshire. Did the sisters stay in the U.S? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
