This is my husbands ancestory that I am trying to help with.His Elizabeth DeGraff has a possible birth place in Belgum.The story here is that her father at one time was known as Baron DeGroff (DeGraff).He fell on hard times financialy and sold his Baron title.Elizabeth married Eugene Joseph Amama who was born in 1842.My husband states that there was some connection to al saee-Lorraine France.Eugene and his family came to America in 1875 he was 33.His occupation was a glassblower.His parents are unkown to us.As you can see we need lots of facts here.They had three children:
1- Mary G. Amama b 4 May 1874 in Holland, d 8 Sept 1924 in New Castle, PA.She married Roy Evelyn Kennedy b 28 Jan 1873 in New Castle Pa., d 28 April 1915 New Castle PA. He worked for the B&O Railway. His stats on parents are unkown except for his mothers maiden name of Mac Andrews. 2- Eugene Joseph Amama Jr. b unkown, d unkown married Carrie Tregesser b 14 march 1876, d abt 1899. They had a daughter b 27th Nov 1898 and then were Married on 25th Dec. 1898. 3- Rose Amama.All other information unkown.
Mary G and Roy Evelyn Kennedy had four children. 1- Mary Elizabeth Kennedy b 3 Dec. 1899, d 28 Jan. 1978.Mariied 1st. Joseph Harold Kenna b 21 May 1899, d 14 apr 1931. His Parents were Joseph Q. Kenna and Minnie Gormerly.Their personal stats are unknown as well.How ever My husband remembers family of Gormerly living in Columbus OH and a uncle Mark Gormerly who was very well to do and was in to realestate either as a broker or banker. Says he remebers the house in an area called Shaker Heights and a cousin Betty (Elizabeth). 2- John Paul d 1900 3 years 6 months - diphtheria 3- Roy Evelyn b 1902 d 1935 4- Eugene joseph b 2 Aug 1904, d 9 May 1991
Mary and Joseph's Issue: Betty J. died at birth 1918; Vivian Jean Kenna b 22 Oct 1919 New Castle PA, d June 1987; Robert Harold Kenna my husband b in New Castle Pa.
