Thank you so much for your reply re: DEHN on 5/19/02.I just saw it now, and have no record of replying to you.
It sounds like opur families are related as the dates and names are so close.All the information from records just state they were from Stolp.I do not know if that is the city of Stolp or an area.One relative said "Stolp am Pozen" as best I can remember.Just last month I received papers which stated Bertha Stanger Dehn was born "Wendish, town of Bilkow, Germany."
Do you know of a Stolp area or county map which might give me an idea ?Where and how did you find the Glowitz church records ?My family pronounced the name as DEAN, and were Lutherans. Please forgive me if I have not responded to you eariler.
