Thank you Philip for responding, unfortunately I do not have that information. Charles E Delamater and Edith C Purdy were the parents of my recently deceased
grandfather. The reason we do not know, is my grandfather was put in an orphanage at a young age. Charles and Edith had 4 children (3boys and 1 girl) Charles would have been born around 1894 and Edith would have been born 1895. I know this from my grandfathers death cert. My grandfater was born in Tarrytown NY in 1921 and it lists Charles and Edith's ages ( Charles 27 and Edith 26). I am sorry I have so little to go on but am hoping someone out there can help me find answers to all the questions about who I am related to. We never asked questions of my grandfather because we thought it was too painful for him and he never told us anything about his family.By the way, we just recently learned that my grandfather had been usuing delmater all his life as his last name instead of Delamater as listed on his birth cert. Sorry this is so long. Thank you again for any information you or anyone might have on Charles and Edith.
