Dellinger Reunion To All Dellinger, Dillinger, Dollinger, Kin, In-Laws & Out-laws Two Big Days 15th Annual Dellinger Reunion, Lincolnton, NC September, 23 & 24, 2000 Saturday 23, We will meet at the Lincoln County Library at 9:00 AM The Library is 2 blocks west of the Court House on West Main Street. Due to limited time we will only tour Eastern Lincoln County this year, Next year we will tour some of the homesteads and Historical sites in western Lincoln County. We will tour, 1-Dellinger Cemetery where Henry and Hanna Rudisill are buried, and many of their descendants are also buried there. 2-Battle of Ramsour Mill (Revolution war Battle) John Phillip Dellinger fought in this Battle 3-Lincoln County Historical Museum. 4-Henry Dellinger’s spring house was used for the first Jail house in what is now Lincoln Co. The bottom floor still exist. 5-Magnolia grove, Henry Dellinger first Homestead. I don't think we will be able to go to the Daniel Dellinger Cemetery this year, We still don't have permission, We are waiting on a court decision before we can go into this cemetery, Paul
Sunday 24, We will gather for lunch and pictures at Laboratory Methodist Church. 1:00 Directions go west on Hwy 150 from Lincolnton to Laboratory Road turn left. Go @ 1.2 miles church will be on left.
Please bring a dish or two. For travelers there are several delis and grocery stores, KFC and Bo-Jangles are also available. Plates, Silverware, Ice, Electricity will be provided. Travelers wishing to spend the night can find lodging at Days Inn 704-735-8271 or Comfort Inn 704-732-0011.
Please bring all your old and new photo’s, genealogy sheets, books, discs, etc. We will try to have facilities for you to display your items. Copies of Paul’s Books will be at a special price and copies of the Dellinger Photo CD will be available.
