More on John DeLong of Upstate New York
James DeLong (DeLange) was a Frenchman by birth and came to America at the time of the French Revolution and settled in Soper, Dutchess County, New York. He then moved on to the town of Wayne in Western New York and had six children: Samuel, Henry, John, William, Catharine, Asa and Betsey. His son John DeLong married Delana (Laney)Rarrick (Rarick) and they had ten children together: Henry, William, Charles, James, John, Harrison, Harriet, Catharine, Hannah and Sally. I have more information regarding these. My desire is to learn more, especially the parentage, of Delana Rarrick. Also, does anyone know where John and Delana Rarrick are buried? Anybody have an obituary for either? Anybody know the parentage of Delana Rarick DeLong? Many thanks, Philip Mann [email protected]
