Searching for information regarding Joseph Eli DeLuca, my great grandfather.He was born 7 Dec. 1873, but the SSDI lists that year as 1871 so it could be off.Born in Maschito, Italy (possibly Venosa) provincia di Potenza.Married to Mary Catherine Bischel, 20 Sep. 1918.His name was possibly Giuseppe Elia DeLuca, his parents were Carmen DeLuca and Lucy Ochinero.I don't know anything about them.Joseph immigrated to america, returned to Sicily to get his degree from the University of Palermo in medicine, and then returned to the US.He eventually settled in Fresno, California.I would appreciate any information at all about him or any of his descendents.
