Nancy Demaris SIMMONS (1841-1862, IL)

I'm looking for a possible Demaris connection for the parents of Nancy Demaris SIMMONS.Her parents are said to have been Joel SIMMONS and Elizabeth McGOW(A)N or McQUOIN.

Nancy married David A. FOWLER in McLean Co. IL in 1859, but died in 1862, following the death of their second child.
