On a trip to the Rutherford Co. TN courthouse, about 150 deeds were copied.Plans are being made to transcribe/reveal more of the deeds at the 2013 reunion.
Book 4 Page 500 Know all men by that I, Wilson Y DEMENT, for an in consideration of the sum of $1000 to one in hand paid by James A. HARRISON the receipt whereof is herebyacknowledged have granted bargained and sold ??? and transfer unto the said James A. HARRISON his heirs executors, administration & assigns all of my interest of every kind whatsoever which I now have in the estate of my deceased father, Cader DEMENT late of the state Tennessee, and deceased mother, Francis DEMENT also late of the said state, and I hereby authorize and empower Warren MOOREand Edward J. ALLEN, executors of my said deceased father and representative of my deceased mother to pay over to the said James A. HARRISON any and all sums of money or deliver to him all and every description of the property which may be due or belonging to me out of said estates.
