from A Genealogical Account of the Name of Mudge: We suppose he m. in New Lebanon, but we know that the last five children were b. in Unadilla, N.Y., where he removed as a farmer. He afterwards removed to Guilford, where he died. He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War. Aaron Mudge in Col. W. B. Whiting's Regt. drew pay Nov. 7, 1781. He m. Wealthy Deming. She d. Feb. 13, 1824.
Wealthy Deming Mudge died 13 Feb. 1824 in Guifford, Chenango co., New York.
Bare with me, this gets a bit confusing -
Eleazur L. Deming, b. 1 Aug. 1813; son of Josiah Deming & Asenath Mudge; migrated from Unadilla, New York to Spring Creek, Warren co., Pennsylvania.
Asenath Mudge, b. 9 Dec. 1790, was the daughter of Aaron Mudge and Wealthy Deming.
My husband is descended from the Spring Creek Demings.
Primarily what I have in my computer program is direct ancestors, with children of each line, as I find them. I do not have lines coming down from siblings, unless I have been in contact with a "cousin", and then I enter their line as a means of keeping track of how the relationship fits. Most of what I have on this family, I got from emails, message boards, and "A Genealogical Account of the Name of Mudge", which I believe I found in the library at Geneaolgy.com.
I do not have any census records listed in my file - I don't know if I didn't find any, or if I haven't looked yet. I'm still running circles trying to find "Bigelow" in census records. :-)
Sorry I can't be of more help. Do you have a subscription to Genealogy.com? I would suggest looking in the library there for the Mudge book - they may have more information. I would look for you, but my subscription was only for a short while, and I no longer have access to it.
