I'm interested in the DENT and BEAN families of Jefferson Co. MS. There are two will abstracts I have run across. The first is the will of Benjamin DENT dated 1821, Jefferson Co. MS WILLS BOOK A 1800-1833. The will mentions George DENT'S children Mary Eliza DENT, Warren DENT, and Washington DENT. The second abstract is the one I'm particularly interested in. Will of William T or L DENT dated 1831, wife named Susan DENT. The will mentions a grandson-William Dent BEAN, son of Robert BEAN. And the will mentions a son, Zachariah William DENT, and brother George DENT'S children. I would like to know about this Robert BEAN, he must have married William DENT'S daughter. There was a marriage in Jefferson Co. MS between one, Robert BEAN and Elizabeth DENT dated Jan. 12, 1826. I wonder if this Elizabeth might be the daughter of William? My ancestor was a brother to this Robert BEAN, his name being Christopher BEAN. By 1840 Christopher had left Jefferson Co. MS and moved to Carroll Parish LA. Christopher married, Nov. 5, 1822 Jefferson Co. MS., Jane LEDBETTER daughter of Henry LEDBETTER and Jane BOLLS/BOWLES. Henry LEDBETTER was an early settler of Jefferson Co. As for Robert Bean, going back to him, I think he is buried in a cemetery in Jefferson Co. located on Nolan Gaultney Rd.
If anyone can help with these two families, it would be so appreciated
