Wow, the layout of this site is horrible. I can't figure out how to read all messages in a thread without clicking through to each one. It's like they created a forum without ever seeing one before.
Anyway: Mark - we are related. My grandfather is Jack DiPasquale, Charles's brother. He had a son and a daughter; the son is my father, Ned. Jack married Santa DiPasquale (don't know maiden name). Don't know daughter's name; she died when young. Ned (deceased) married Marie Vitale; (Marie's parents, Josephine and Anthony Vitale, also had a son, John, born in the 30's. Ned and Marie were born in 1942). Marie and Ned had 5 kids; Anne, Paul, Doralynne, Joseph, Matthew. (I'm Joe). We have no cousins as both of our parents' siblings had no children. My siblings have kids.
Interestingly enough, I believe Jack was born in Italy and original name was Giacomo. Also I believe his name in the US was DiPasquale (no space) but my father and siblings mostly spell it with a space, Di Pasquale. I spell it without the space (the advent of internet makes the space difficult).
Anyway that's about it. Friend me on facebook: facebook.com/joedipasquale .
Your message: My grandfather is Charles DiPasquale. His parents were Nunzio and Sarah DiPasquale. He is originally from Valley Longo in Sicily I believe. He had a brother Jack living in Dunkirk NY, a brother Louis living in Buffalo, and two sisters Mary and Carmela, both living in buffalo. Mark and Jack are deceased. My grandfather, his brother jack and sister mary, along with their mother came to Buffalo in the 1920's. His father had come to Buffalo prior to their arrival.
