Jimmy,
I have the same dates for your Tolbert and his father.I cannot link them with the Armands but cannot disclaim them.Louis (1645-1725) and Gabrielle married in 1670/71.Their son Armand John was born 1695.He may have had a brother Louis Phillipe b 1686 or 1696 about whom I know nothing else.Armand John (notice he was born 25 years after Louis and Gabrielle were married) and Madeline had a son John Anthony born 1729 (also no additional information).Armand had Moses John 2/11/1796 by Mary Fullerton and Catherine, Elizabeth, Armand III, Henry, mary Jane, and Magdalene by Catherine Fullerton.I have not been able to relate Solomon to either Louis Phillipe or John Anthony.I do have that Solomon moved to Floyd County in 1820 where he was a jailer, road commissioner, surveyor and Floyd County Justice of the Peace (1824)Solomon worked in the fur trade. After Waterloo, he renounced his French citizenship and destroyed many papers proving his ancestry.Makes it hard on the rest of us.Hope this helps.Anne
