Hi Dorothy, I just saw your direct message. My father, his sisters and his mother knew that Louise died in 1957 and my father said she was either 88 in 1957 87 in 1958. Sue who helped me found Louis living with a german lady and her children in Chicago. They are back together again in 1930. The geneaolgy librarian at my local library said that might have been sneaky and got divorced and remarried in a neihboring county Possibly Will County. I checked on Irad which did not turn up and I asked the Kankakee County Clerk for it. so that is another document I do not have yet. A librarian at The New Berry found on Irad a Louis Stebbins might have died in 1948, but he did not give me a printout of it.
Deslauriers' parents are John and Aurelia Deslauriers as you saw on their grave stone. I found the 1870-1910 censuses with them recorded in them. There is an older John Deslauiers and his wife Deslauiers living by them in 1870. They could be the younger John Deslauriers parents. When I looked at the 1880 census again I saw the older John Deslauriers living with another family. 1880 was the first census to show the relationsship to the head of the house. I saw some
