Georges, You are right. There are a few creeks or small rivers around Ste-Croix de Lotbinière and St Antoine de Tilly and it is said that Jacques Houde, Desruisseaux 's ancestor, was established there.
As for the Pierre Rocher's descendants, since a few ones were given the name Desrochers, there are some interesting (!) mixings between the two lines : Desrochers from Houde and Desrochers from Rocher, especially in Baie-du-Febvre.
p.s. I also own Michel Lessard's books. Question: are you going to translate them all? :-))
