I think put aside Wilbur5 (Silas4 etc) of Dutchess for now, but there are two other Wilbur Deuels who are relevant.
Wilbur6 (Silas S. 5, Silas4 etc.) who is the one I talked about and who lived in Darlington.
But there's another one I missed, Wilbur7 (Jeremiah6, Silas S. 5, Silas4, etc) born Saratoga 28 Jan. 1815, married Sarah Eldredge, no death record for him but a specific death date and burial location for his wife in 1855, which makes me think he moved away, a number of children are listed but not further traced.
The intriguing thing about him is that he is the brother of the Henry7 (Jeremiah6, etc) b. 1812 Saratoga that I listed as the first Henry to look at.
This Henry7 is listed with four wives: Lydia Deuel (m. ca. 1834 in Saratoga); Hulda Deuel (m. ca. 1836 NY); Ann Eliza (m. ca. 1845 NY); and Margaret Allen (m.ca. 1852). Henry7 + Lydia had George W. Deuel, b. 1835 in Saratoga; Henry7 + Hulda had Isaac Deuel, b. 1838 NY; Henry7 + Ann Eliza don't have any children listed; Henry7 + Margaret Allen had 1) Phinney White Deuel, b. 20 Sept. 1853 and 2) Harry Deuel, b. 21 March 1860.
I think it's significant that the first three wives all have specific death dates and burial locations in Saratoga, but that Henry7 and Margaret do not. And certainly there is enough of a time gap in between the two children to have had one more in 1855. And having first cousins (the offspring of Wilbur6) in Ontario would give him a reason to go there for a visit or whatever.
