I have an Anna Eva Spohn born 18 May 1761 probably Herkimer Co., NY and died in Herkimer in 1834.My records indicate that she married Conrad Eigenaur.I do not have any other dates for this couple.Perhaps you can supply me with a little more detail.
In regards to military service in the Revolution, I show Nicholas' son, John Nicholas Spohn as serving in the Revolution per
Pension W17861.See Elizabethtown cemetery. Nicholas Jr's original furlough signed by Capt. Skinner, Major Throop and col. Willett at Fort Plain, 20 Nov 1781, is with the pension papers.
I know this sounds cryptic but it's what I have written down.I have not sent away for the papers.
As for the source of my information, some of it is from internet communications but the original source that got me this far was taken from the book 'Early Families of Herkimer County, NY by William Barker published by the Genealogical Publishing Co. in Baltimore.
