Is there currently a group looking into the DNA of this surname?
If I understand correctly, in order to use the DNA Y-chromosome test to trace this family, I would need to locate the son of a son ... Below is a list I have created of known male descendants of my “brick wall” DAVAR. I would appreciate any additions, but I’d LOVE to locate a male cousin who would be willing to take & share the DNA test and provide a well documented tree dating back to one of my own ancestors. I have never met anyone who would qualify as “a DAVAR son of a DAVAR son” or I’d look closer to home.
