Tried sending you an email, but address must be old. Hoping that you are still reading query boards or have notification of posting to this message.
Here is text of my email:
Ran across a posting from 2000 about Rodeman Devers. I am helping a friend with her genealogy and she descends through Rodeman's son Riley C. who ended up in Livingston Co., KY, through his daughter Naomi Jane Devers who married Shadrack Reuben Holder in KY (likely Crittenden). Would be interested in anything you might like to share in regards to this family. I will gladly give you the downline information that I have so far gathered. I noticed another posting on same board that had a HOLDER/DEVERS marriage occuring in Jackson Co., AL. Wonder if that Holder line is connected to my friends?
Sincerely,

Marie Eleanor Choate nee Gossage (called Dixie, and still living) Barbara Ellen Ramsey nee Choate (my friend)
P.S. Just located Rodeman Deavers in Murray County, GA in the 1850 census. 100% match, but means that he had a wife previous to Jane Crouch, named Julia and a daughter Elisabeth A. Devers born in 1849. Rodeman's age matches and of course his name, and then of course his occupation... carpenter!!! How many Rodeman Devers who were carpenters were living in 1850? Not many I would venture to guess :)
